Camilla, now the Queen Consort, was addressed in Charles’ first televised speech being called his “darling wife.” The two have known each other since the 1970s and were married in 2005. Both were divorced, and Camilla is both a mother and grandmother. Though Queen Elizabeth was apprehensive, worrying about how the public would approve of Camilla, she became patron to more than 90 charities.
